- Born 1968 in Yokohama. Ooku graduated from Meiji University, Faculty of Political Economy and entered Production Jinrikisha's School JCA to become an entertainer. Later in 1997, she became a student at the THE FILM SCHOOL OF TOKYO. She made her debut as a commercial film director with the movie ”Tokyo Serendipity” in 2007.
