- Masako Imai was born in Sakai, Osaka. She studied in the USA as an exchange student for one year during her high school days. While working as a copywriter at an advertizing agency McCann Erickson she debuted as a scriptwriter in a contest. She works on novels, picture books and songs. She is now studying Chinese and sign language.
