- Born in Sendai City. As a student of the Waseda University, Ishii was a member of the ”Film Studies Club”. In 1970, he debuted as a comic artist. His work ”Angel Guts” became a big hit and was later adapted into movies at Nikkatsu Roman Porno. He also debuted as a director with ”Angel Guts: Red Vertigo” in 1988.
