- Higashi Shimizu’s father is a broadcast script writer, Hiroshi Tsuse, who has wrote script of “Shabon-Dama Holiday” and more. Higashi Shimizu started his career as a comedy playwright at the age of 21 with a script, “OH! Stars Family”.Later, he worked on writing scripts for comedians; Drifters, Utchan Nanchan and Downtown. At the same time he took a part of creation of dramas and anime including Doraemon movies.
