Yasutoshi Murakawa wrote and directed his first independent movie, which was awarded in Indies Movie Festival and was released in 2003. He later studied under Yumiko Inoue, Takuya Nishioka and Hiroshi Kashiwabara at scenario school. He debuted with “Nozokiya (A Peeper)” in 2006.
