- Eimei Kanamura has left Osaka Prefecture University, School of Economics before graduation. During his college years, he belonged to a theatrical company. He was recognized for his script by Shinji Aoyama, a film director, in a public submission and later directed a short film under Aoyama’s guidance. Then he studied under Hiroshi Takahashi at the Film School of Tokyo and debuted as a professional screenwriter with a theatrical movie released in 2008.
