- Born in Tokyo. Shibata entered Pioneer LDC in 1992. While producing works, he actively proposed own projects to King Records and as a result made his debut as a director with his movie ”Alter Ego”. After that, Shibata was able to celebrate considerable success with ”The Chasing World” which became a series. Most of his works are horror titles.
