After his highly esteemed independent film ”Daikaiju Eiga G”, Taguchi made his debut as a commercial film director with the movie ”Gehara: The Dark & Long Hair Monster”. Since then, he has been active as a director for drama series of the Tokusatsu genre, e.g. the Ultraman franchise.
