Take participated in movies by directors Eiichi Kudo, Yoichi Sai, Lazuyuki Izutsu as an assistant director and made his own directorial debut in 2007 with the movie ”Boy Meets Pusan”. He won the Director of the Year Award at the 39th Japan Academy Prize for his movie ”100 Yen Love”.
