- Born in Hokkaido. Miura established the stage play group ”Potudo-ru” in １９９６. In 2006, he was awarded the 50th Kishida Prize for Drama for ”Love's Whirlpool”. Besides working as a movie director, Miura is also active as a scriptwriter, playwriter and stage director.
