- A creator who leads the R&B scene in Japan, Ken Matsubara is a record producer for Ken Hirai, MISIA, and Crystal Kay. The CDs featuring his composed music have sold over 30 million copies at this time. “Nemurenu Yoru Wa Kimi No Sei,” performed by MISIA, sold 30 thousand copies and topped the Oricon charts. Additionally, he arranged the ending song of the Japanese national anime Chibi Maruko-chan called “Arara no Jumon” Matsubara produces many film scores that are performed by full orchestras, including the score for the film G@me, which allow audiences to feel like they’ve been transported to the world of the movie.
