Career

Shoichiro Hirata’s music career began with him working for a gaming company, KONAMI, as a game soundtrack composer. He has since produced music for many artists, including Morning Musume and SMAP, and has become one of the most renowned musical creators in Japan. He is now widely known as the record producer for AR Performers. The song “Dear Woman,” performed by SMAP, sold over 40 thousand copies and topped the Oricon charts. His specialty is composing club music. He also shows his skills by producing many film scores performed by full orchestras, one of which brought a dramatic world to life in the film Beautiful Love.
