Career
Toshio Matsumoto is a member of EXILE, one of the most renowned boy bands in Japan. In 2007, he made his debut as an actor with the stage play Taiyou ni Yakarete. At the end of 2015, he left EXILE as a performer. He has since broadened his acting abilities by appearing in many films, stage plays, and dramas. He played the main role in the film Long Caravan (2009), and also acted in other films such as The Apology King (2013) and Ties (2013). Additionally, he appears in stage plays like Chiruran Shinsengumi Requiem (2017), Ginmaku no Hate ni (2019), and Hoshi no Daichi ni Furu Namida THE MUSICAL. He also played the main role in the NTD drama MINOWA - Love and Law- (2014) and the supporting role in the TBS TV drama Alumni: Three Times in Love (2014).
