Career
Takafumi Iwasaki began his career as a composer with the opening theme for Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger. He then made his debut as a singer while composing the opening theme for Mahou Sentai Magiranger. Since then he’s created many theme songs for the Super Sentai series. He also wrote both the lyrics and score for Johnny's WEST’s first song, “Eejanaika.” Additionally, he’s worked on the opening themes for the anime Ace Attorney, called “Gyakuten Winner” and “Jinsei wa Subarashii” as well as the opening theme for the anime Captain Tsubasa, called “Start Dash.” Iwasaki is also known for composing the opening theme for Dragon Ball Super, “Genkaitoppa X Survivor,” sung by Kiyoshi Hikawa, as well as the opening theme for Dragon Ball Z Kai, “Dragon Soul,” sung by Takayoshi Tanimoto.
