- While studying at Nihon University College of Art's Cinema department Hyuga started to produce short movies. After that, she also directed various medium length movies and wrote srcipts for feature-length movies. ”Morisaki Shoten no Hibi” in 2010 was Hyuga's first theatrical feature film to direct, for which she also wrote the screenplay.
