- Rie Saiko studied Japanese art of flower arrangement at Ikenobo Junior College. While working at a bookstore in 1997, she studied at Osaka branch of Scenario Center. She studied under Director Toshiharu Ikeda in 2006. Her script for “Meringue” was shortlisted in the 2007 Kido Award.
