- Career
- Narushima gained experienced while working under Azuma Morisaki and Kazuhiko Hasegawa. He worked as an assistant director of movies by Shinji Somai and other directors. In 1994, he debuted as a scriptwriter for the movie ”Osaka Gokudo Senso: Shinoidare” and then directed his first movie ”The Hunter and the Hunted” (2004), for which he was awarded the Fujimoto Award Best New Talent and the Yokohama Film Festival Best New Director Award.
