- Career
- Born in Ibaraku Prefecture. While studying at Seijo University, Nakamura got the Second Prize at the Pia Film Festival for his work ”Samidare Chubo” (1993). After graduation from university he became an assistant director and worked under Yoichi Sai, Hideyuki Hirayama and Juzo Itami. He made his debut as a director in 1999 with his independent work ”Local News”.
