Tetsuo Shinohara

February 9, 1962
After graduating from university, Shinohara has been working as an assistant director for Yoshimitsu Moria's and other directors' movies. At the same time, he also created his own independent movies. ”Work on the Grass” was well-received both domestically and internationally. His works belong to various genres which all depict the fabric of human relationships. He has shot about 30 movies so far.
