Shotaro Shima

August 17, 1988
Born in the city of Obihiro, Hokkaido. After graduating from a music college in Sapporo, Shotaro attended Berklee College of Music where he graduated at the top of his class following a comprehensive study in film scoring. A year later in 2017, he would return to Japan and launch Fantastic Megacity, a brand which produces “epic music,” a genre that had not yet penetrated the country. His work has since expanded quickly, and continues to expand into many genres including overtures for major artists’ live performances, music for stage, television, games, and more.
