Career
Takehiko Minato is a member of Japan Writers Guild. He graduated from Japan Academy of the Moving Image – it has been renamed Japan Institute of the Moving Image – where he was in the seventh graduating class. In 2006 he debuted as a playwright with “Sumo Hot Pot: Chanko”, which Toshiki Sato directed. Since then he has been active in writing screenplays mainly for theatrical movies. He is from Miyazaki Prefecture.
