- Takashi Hasegawa graduated from Osaka University of Foreign Studies, Department of Italian. He worked at television production company and later became a freelance assistant director. Before he debuted as a playwright, he studied under Shinichiro Sawai, Makoto Wada and Shusuke Kaneko.
