- Born in Tokyo, Natsumi Kemuyama studied Design Informatics at Musashino Art University and worked as part of the production department on variety shows after graduating. She began writing in 2017 and was one of the finalists for awards such as the TV Asahi Newcomer Scenario Award in 2018, the Fuji TV Young Scenario Award in 2019, and the Tsutaya Creators Program in 2020. She then went on to win her first grand prize of Best Scenario at the 2020 Isama Studio Film Festival. Natsumi specializes in conversational and visual drama.
