- Daisuke Kamijyo was born in Yamanashi prefecture. While engaged in a wide variety of Japanese film production, Daisuke debuted as a director and screenwriter with his documentary film, "Hee and She". His film "No one but I know" won the Runner-Up award at the Kyoto International Film and Art Festival and the Best Short Film award at the Japanese Serbian Film Festival. In 2019, Daisuke began writing plays, such as "Battle Without Honor and Humanity (Hakataza Theatre)" and "Love Story Out of Vaudville (Mitsukoshi Theater)".
