- Miyuki Tokoi graduated from International Christian University in Tokyo with a communications degree and she joined the music business as a director of Western music at a record company. She proceeded to get her masters degree in film at the University of Bristol, and after returning to Japan, she excelled in her career as an editor, director, and producer. She continues to produce news and reports specializing in architecture and the arts, as well as issues that draw on the perspectives of socially vulnerable people. Her recent film “Zero as You Are” is awarded Humanity Award by Japanese Film Festival Los Angeles, and Audience Award by Tokyo Documentary Film Festival.
