Career
Screenwriter. Born in Hyogo Prefecture. Graduated from the Department of Chinese Literature, College of Letters, Ritsumeikan University. After working for TV Tokyo, Inoue made her debut as a screenwriter in 1991. Her major TV works include "Shiroi Kyoto", NHK's serial series "Himawari", NHK's historical series "Hojo Tokimune", "Good Luck!" (starring Takuya Kimura), "Engine", "BG: Personal Bodyguard", and a movie "Hirugao" which was released in China in 2018 as well. Inoue was awarded the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award, Art Encouragement Prize, and the Kuniko Mukoda Prize in 2006, and the Medal with Purple Ribbon in 2020.
