Career
She was born in Tokyo in 1971. When she was 19 years old, she appeared in a documentary directed by Kore - eda Hirokazu and decided to proceed to the image world. After working as a director at NHK, I became independent. In 2007 the "Two by the River" was a Sundance NHK International Filmmaker Award. "Beautiful Islands" (EP: Kore - eda Hirokazu / 09) depicting the islands that will sink while living around the world three times won the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) Asian Film Foundation Award, and it is open to the US and Japan. A short story (unpublished in Japan) closely related to two masters as Korea eda Hirokazu and Yoji Yamada directed at BIFF 2016. A self-documentary "{HUG}" (15) over birth after 3.11 is released after BIFF (Korea) and Nippon Connection (Germany) official listing.
