Career
Nozomu Namba graduated from the screenwriting course at the Yokohama Broadcasting Technical School (now known as the Japan Institute of the Moving Image). He studied scenario writing under the screenwriters Chiho Katsura and Yukiko Takayama. After working for a video production company as a researcher and a plot writer, he made his debut with the script-written film "Kagura me" (starring Rina Takeda, Ren Osugi, Mariko Tsutsui, and more), which was released in theatres in 2015 and which screened widely in Japan and abroad, in addition to receiving an official nomination at the 39th Montreal World Film Festival.
