Kazuomi Makita is president of elePHANTMoon theater company.
Makita studied under Oriza Hirata and joined Seinendan theater company's directing department. He directed the world-first production of "Three Sisters" featuring androids and robots.
In 2014, Makita wrote the screenplay for the film "Shishunki Gokko", a realistic depiction of the delicate emotions between girls, and, in 2015, his two films "Korekara no Koto" and "Phantom Jenny" -- both written and directed by Makita -- were nominated for a range of awards.
Makita's works portray the stoicism of humankind and depict human madness and darkness with high entertainment value and solid storylines.
